from the city of Tanagra in Boeotia, Greece, a mold made terracotta figure of a young woman, shown standing on an integral base, her right leg on a stool and wearing a long sheer chiton, her himation draped around her left arm and wound around her waist to fall in folds over her raised right leg, her right hand lifting the garment at her knee while her right hand holds it in place on her hip, exposing her left leg. She wears a short polos, her hair in ringlets falls down around her shoulders with traces of white slip preserved, rectangular vent hole at back.
