Covered in orange slip, the anthropomorphic vessel with a squat round body and featuring a human head with coffee bean eyes, a hooked nose pierced with a gold ring, small mouth and pierced ears, the face "tattooed" with a linear key motif, wearing a fringed headdress atop which is a round handle with two curved spouts.

Malagana is an archaeological site in Columbia's Cauca Valley, outside of Cali. Discovered in 1992, archaeological excavation uncovered a previously unknown cultural complex, now known as Malagana-Sonsoid, that dates to 300 BCE - 300 CE.

Condition:  Loop handle and spouts restored and a restored hairline on the back of neck, otherwise in very good condition overall.

For overseas shipments we charge a small flat rate which includes packing, preparation of all customs paperwork, insurance and carrier fees in compliance with all USA and International customs requirements.  Overseas shipments are sent using either USPS Priority Mail or FedEx but contact us if you have a shipping preference. International customers are responsible for all duties and taxes.
