Dieses konische Stück wurde aus grüner Fayence gefertigt und in Senet, einem Ludo-ähnlichen Spiel, verwendet. Senet zu spielen und auf dessen Ausgang zu wetten, war eine beliebte Freizeitbeschäftigung der alten Ägypter. Die große Beliebtheit dieses Backgammon-ähnlichen Spiels lässt sich an der enormen Menge an Beweisen dafür messen, die aus allen Perioden der ägyptischen Geschichte erhalten sind. Obwohl es jahrhundertelang nur eine einfache Ablenkung gewesen zu sein scheint, wurde Senet in der 18. Dynastie neu konzipiert und zum Symbol des Kampfes um Unsterblichkeit.

Overseas shipments are sent using either USPS Priority Mail or FedEx but contact us if you have a shipping preference. International customers are responsible for all duties and taxes.
