A charming vessel in the shape of a salmon-colored fawn's head, featuring small perked ears, recessed eyes with long black lashes, recessed notrils and a recessd open mouth, a black band painted around the neck of the vessel.

Medium: Clay, polychrome

Dimensions: 5-15/8”H x 5-3/4”L.

Condition: Overall intact and in excellent condition, the surface with scattered mineral deposits.

Provenance: Private South Florida collection, acquired prior to 1969 from Alan C. Lapiner. With a copy of an appraisal from Arts of the Four Quarters, NYC, dated September 30th, 1969, item #113. Two old collection stickers on based, one labeled 113.

For overseas shipments we charge a small flat rate which includes packing, preparation of all customs paperwork, insurance and carrier fees in compliance with all USA and International customs requirements.  Overseas shipments are sent using either USPS Priority Mail or FedEx but contact us if you have a shipping preference. International customers are responsible for all duties and taxes.
