Laureate head of Nero facing right.
Legend: NERO CAESAR AVG GERM IMP
Translation: "Nero Caesar Augustus Germanicus, Imperator"
The legend refers to Nero’s titles, including his victories in Germany and his acclamation as emperor.
Reverse:
Victory advancing left, holding a shield inscribed SPQR (“Senatus Populusque Romanus” – The Senate and the People of Rome).
Legend: S C (Senatus Consulto – By decree of the Senate)
Victory's depiction emphasizes imperial legitimacy and public approval.

Condition: Very Fine to Extremely Fine (VF–EF), dark brown patina with high-relief details visible, particularly in the portrait and Victory’s wings. Sharp obverse legend and minimal wear to reverse imagery. Rare.
