Known to the Romans as "Glandes", lead shot used by slingers, such as this example, were accurate at ranges up to 600 feet. This example is from the Battle of Munde in 46 BCE where Julius Caesar defeated Pompey the Great.

Condition: Intact and in very good condition overall.
