A large oval wall plaque with a raised rim, painted in a bright polychrome palette, the center decorated with a basket of flowers surmounting a mask, with a cornucopia bouquet and a rope of leaves above, the outer edge of the molded frame decorated with a blue and white, the inner edge with diaper and foliate scroll panels, with two pierced apertures for suspension at the back.

Provenance:   Senator William A. Clark (1839 - 1925) private collection, gifted to the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington DC in 1925, American University Museum (2014 - 2024).  Deaccessioned from AUM in 1924.

For overseas shipments we charge a small flat rate which includes packing, preparation of all customs paperwork, insurance and carrier fees in compliance with all USA and International customs requirements.  Overseas shipments are sent using either USPS Priority Mail or FedEx but contact us if you have a shipping preference. International customers are responsible for all duties and taxes.
