The inscription reads:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e\"The venerated one in the presence of Osiris, the hereditary prince Amenhotep, called Huy, praised in the whole of Egypt, son of the dignitary Hepu.\" \u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFunerary cones were architectural elements embedded into the mudbrick façade above the entrances of elite Theban tomb chapels, with only the inscribed face remaining visible. Numerous cones bearing this inscription have been recorded from the vicinity of Medinet Habu on the west bank of Thebes.
