Handcrafted from high-karat gold, this refined ring features a simple rounded hoop joined to a sculptural openwork bezel. The bezel is bordered with delicate granulated gold beading and is centered with a symbolic Chi Rho and flanking cross — powerful emblems of early Christianity.

The Chi Rho (pronounced /ˈkaɪ ˈroʊ/), also known as the chrismon or sigla, is one of the earliest known Christograms, created by superimposing the first two capital letters—Chi (Χ) and Rho (Ρ)—of the Greek word ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ (Christos), meaning Christ. The vertical stroke of the rho intersects the chi at its center, creating a form that was both immediately recognizable and spiritually potent. In the early Christian world, such symbols were believed to offer divine protection, signal faith and identity, and express one’s allegiance to the sacred.

The ring's balance of restraint and symbolism reflects its dual role as both adornment and devotional object — a deeply personal piece likely worn by a woman of elevated status within the Christian community of Late Antiquity.
