Shown standing on a trapezoidal base, this green glazed faience ushabti is shown mummiform with plain tripartite wig and striated divide beard. The arms are crossed on the chest, the hands emerge from a shroud and hold a pick in the left, and a hoe in the right. There is a raised dorsel pillar at the back.

Condition: Intact and in very good condition overall.

Dimensions: Height: 2 3/4 inches (7 cm)

Provenance: George R. Francoeur (1934 - 2019) collection, Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, originally sold from the George R. Francoeur trust to benefit the George R. Francoeur Scholarship Fund at Cranbrook Academy of Art, thereafter private Virginia collection.
