Originally from a large terracotta statue, this lovely sculpture perhaps depicts the goddess of love, Aphrodite, her head turned slightly to the right, her wavy hair center-parted and arranged in a top-knot, with almond-shaped lidded eyes, a slender nose, and small mouth.
