From the time of the first cities, this large rectangular seal is carved from black steatite, one side with one of the earliest depictions of a winged feline/griffin, the low gabled back with a stylized motif, and a hole drilled through the body for suspension.

Condition: The seal is intact and in excellent condition overall.  A rare and interesting example.
