Compact, with a relatively wide neck, two vertical handles, base ring, and a flange on the rim that suggests it was once lidded. Addorsed palmettes and tendrils beneath each handle, a band of ovolo/egg pattern above the figures on either side. On one side a bearded satyr wearing a white wreath adopts a relaxed posture, resting his arms on his raised left knee before a seated woman who holds a tray of offerings in her raised right hand and a tambourine in her lowered left. She wears a belted peplos and a bandeau in her hair. On the reverse the same satyr appears before a woman in a belted chiton who leans or reels to the right while looking back at the satyr, a sash in her lowered left hand. Her curly hair is loosely tied in a chignon.
