Ein handgefertigter Terrakottakanne aus der Levante, datiert auf das 1. Jahrtausend v. Chr. Das Gefäß weist einen zylindrischen Körper mit flachen horizontalen Ritzbändern, einen schmalen, sich verjüngenden Hals, einen ausgeprägten auskragenden Rand und einen einzelnen Bandhenkel auf, der Hals und Schulter verbindet. Seine robuste und zweckmäßige Form deutet auf die Verwendung als Flüssigkeitsbehälter hin, wahrscheinlich für Wasser, Wein oder Öl. Die strukturierte Oberfläche weist dekorative Spuren und mäßige Lochfraß auf, was auf ein grobes Tonmaterial hindeutet, das typisch für die eisenzeitliche Keramik der Region ist.

Zustand: Stabil und intakt. Geringfügige Oberflächenabnutzungen und Verkrustungen, die mit der Bestattung übereinstimmen. Keine sichtbare Restaurierung. Der Henkel und der Rand sind vollständig, und das Gefäß steht eben.

For overseas shipments we charge a small flat rate which includes packing, preparation of all customs paperwork, insurance and carrier fees in compliance with all USA and International customs requirements. Overseas shipments are sent using either USPS Priority Mail or FedEx but contact us if you have a shipping preference. International customers are responsible for all duties and taxes.
