Ein fein geschnitzter Karneol-Anhänger, der einen stilisierten Engerling („Gusano“) darstellt, eine Form, die für die Tairona-Kultur Nordkolumbiens charakteristisch ist. Die Figur weist eingeschnittene Gesichtsdetails und runde Augen auf, die mit weicher Modellierung und rhythmischer Segmentierung entlang des Körpers wiedergegeben sind. Längs zur Aufhängung gebohrt, zeigt dieses Exemplar wunderschön gebänderte orangefarbene und cremefarbene Farbtöne, die das Licht mit Wärme und Transluzenz einfangen. Solche Anhänger waren Symbole für Regeneration und Transformation und spiegelten den Glauben der Tairona an die zyklische Erneuerung in der Natur wider.

Maße: Breite des Anhängers: 2,2 cm (7/8 Zoll). Er wurde an einer modernen, verstellbaren 18-Zoll-Kette aus 18 Karat Gelbgold aufgezogen.

For overseas shipments we charge a small flat rate which includes packing, preparation of all customs paperwork, insurance and carrier fees in compliance with all USA and International customs requirements. Overseas shipments are sent using either USPS Priority Mail or FedEx but contact us if you have a shipping preference. International customers are responsible for all duties and taxes.
