Dieses Papyrussäulenamulett, im Ägyptischen als Wadj bekannt, besteht aus grün glasierter Fayence und hat oben einen durchbohrten Aufhängering. Grüne frische Pflanzen symbolisierten für die Ägypter Jugend, neues Leben und Wiedergeburt, und die Anwesenheit dieses besonderen Amuletts am Körper sollte sicherstellen, dass der Verstorbene für immer jung blieb und nicht verletzt wurde. In den beiden Kapiteln 159 und 160 geht es um eine Papyrussäule aus Feldspat, die an die Kehle des Verstorbenen gelegt werden soll: „Wenn sie gesund ist, bin ich gesund; wenn es unbeschädigt ist, bin ich unverletzt; Wenn es nicht getroffen wird, bin ich unverwundet. ..meine Glieder sollen nicht austrocknen.'
Ein Papyruszepter wurde oft von Göttinnen getragen und die Pflanze war das Wahrzeichen Unterägyptens und seiner Schutzpatronin Wadjyt; Daher garantierte seine Amulettform dem Träger nicht nur Verjüngung, sondern verband ihn auch mit dem Göttlichen und insbesondere mit einer der großen Schutzgöttinnen.
Zustand: Das Amulett ist intakt und insgesamt in ausgezeichnetem Zustand. Es wurde als Anhänger an einer verstellbaren modernen 18-Zoll-Kette aus 18-karätigem Gelbgold befestigt.
