Die stilisierte, rund dargestellte Frauenfigur mit nach hinten geneigtem Knollenkopf, kleinen Brüsten und hervorstehendem Bauchnabel kniet bei der Geburt, den Kopf des Kindes zwischen ihren Beinen.

Abmessungen : Höhe: 8 1/4 Zoll (21 cm)

Zustand : Oberflächenverwitterung ist zu erwarten, die Figur ist intakt und insgesamt in sehr gutem Zustand.

Provenienz : Teil der James Stephan Snr. Sammlung, zusammengestellt in den späten 1960er Jahren und dann durch Abstammung. Dr. Stephan war ein Archäologe, der in der anatolischen Region der Türkei Ausgrabungen durchführte und während dieser Zeit seine Sammlung bei Händlern und Dorfbewohnern im gesamten Nahen Osten zusammenstellte.
