Die Identifizierung eines Amuletts, das nur bei privaten Bestattungen der späten Dynastie und der griechisch-römischen Zeit vorkommt und offenbar die Kleidung des Verstorbenen garantiert, wurde von Wissenschaftlern viel diskutiert. Es ähnelt einer besonderen Art von reifenförmigem Gegengewicht mit gesäumtem Rand, das in der MacGregor-Papyrus-Liste als Menkhet bezeichnet wird. Möglicherweise gibt es ein Wortspiel mit dem Wort „Menkhet“, was „Kleidung“ bedeutet, obwohl dies in Hieroglyphen anders geschrieben ist.
Ab dem Neuen Reich wird jedoch eine scheinbar identische Form mit dem Lautwert „ pr “ (aper) verwendet, um Wörter zu schreiben, die „ausgestattet“ oder „ausgestattet mit“ und im weiteren Sinne „Ausrüstung“ bedeuten, also vielleicht tatsächlich stellt eine aufwendige Schürze dar. Die bevorzugten Materialien sind dunkle Steine wie Diorit, wie hier beispielsweise Quarzit oder Porphyr.
