Es ist sehr ungewöhnlich, diese nützlichen kleinen Werkzeuge aus einer so frühen Zeit der altägyptischen Geschichte zu finden. Die geringe Größe lässt auf den persönlichen Gebrauch schließen, insbesondere da sich oben in der gewölbten Form ein handgebohrtes Loch befindet, damit die Mühle getragen werden kann und nicht verloren geht! Wenn Sie sich dieses Loch genau ansehen, können Sie Abnutzungsspuren erkennen, die durch das Aufspannen mit einem Stück Seil oder Leder entstanden sind. Mit seiner gewölbten Form und den glatten Seiten liegt es gut in der Hand und wurde offensichtlich oft verwendet, da die Basis sehr glatt ist.

Zustand: Mit einigen sehr geringen Oberflächenverlusten, intakt und insgesamt in sehr gutem Zustand. Ein sehr interessantes Stück!
Provenienz: Private NYC-Sammlung, 2002 vom Handel erworben. Die frühere Provenienz geht verloren, aber die Reste eines antiken Sammlungsetiketts sind noch am Gehäuse angebracht.

We ship Tuesday to Friday with FedEx and usually same day if your order is received before 2pm. Within the continental USA, packing, shipping and insurance is free. Depending on size and destination, delivery times range from one to five business days.
For overseas shipments we charge a small flat rate which includes packing, preparation of all customs paperwork, insurance and carrier fees in compliance with all USA and International customs requirements. Overseas shipments are sent using either USPS Priority Mail or FedEx but contact us if you have a shipping preference. International customers are responsible for all duties and taxes.
