Shu, der Sohn des Schöpfers und Sonnengottes im heliopolitischen Schöpfungsmythos, repräsentiert das Prinzip der Luft. Zusammen mit seiner Gemahlin Tefnut – dem Prinzip der Feuchtigkeit, sowie Geb (Erde) und Nut (Himmel) war er eine der ersten Gottheiten. Shu war dafür verantwortlich, Geb und Nut zu trennen und den Raum des Universums zu sichern; daher vertrat er auch das Lebensprinzip. Shu-Amulette wurden in der Spätzeit populär.
Dieses blaugrün glasierte Fayence-Amulett stellt Shu in seiner standardisierten Form dar. Er kniet auf seinem rechten Knie, das linke Knie ist angezogen. Beide Arme sind erhoben (um den Himmel anzuheben), und er trägt eine lange Perücke und einen plissierten Shendyt. Die integrierte Säule auf der Rückseite verfügt über eine Aufhängeöse zur Befestigung.

Overseas shipments are sent using either USPS Priority Mail or FedEx but contact us if you have a shipping preference. International customers are responsible for all duties and taxes.
