Ab der 26. Dynastie werden fast immer zwei Amulette zusammen gefunden – das Zeichendreieck und das Lot, wie hier zu sehen. Das Lot (oder Lot) sieht aus wie eine Pyramide mit Füßen und wurde meist aus dunklem Stein geschnitzt. Das in der Architektur verwendete Instrument wurde zur Überprüfung der Vertikalität verwendet und hatte die Form eines Geodreiecks (zwei rechteckige Stäbe in L-Form), das mit der Verbindungsstelle nach oben angebracht war, sodass ein Gewicht an einer Schnur daran hängen konnte. Der Besitz dieses Amuletts würde seinem Besitzer ewiges Gleichgewicht garantieren
