Fein aus hellgrüner Fayence geschnitzt, der Skarabäus mit wunderschön geschnitztem Kopf, Augen, Clypeusplatte, Brustkorb und Flügelgehäusen, mit doppelter Ritzlinienbordüre; Die Beine an den Seiten sind alle mit viel Liebe zum Detail anatomisch geformt. Unterhalb der Beine ist ein erhabener Umrissrand gefaltet, der die Basis mit einer Schlaufenbefestigung in zwei Abschnitte trennt.
Abmessungen: Höhe: 1 1/4 Zoll (3 cm)
Zustand: Verlust am oberen rechten Rand des Skarabäus, sonst intakt.
Provenienz: Private Maryland-Sammlung eines Diplomaten, erworben während seines Dienstes in Ägypten zwischen 1949 und 1956 und dann durch Abstammung.
