Provenienz: Privatsammlung Dr. Edna (Ann) R. Russmann, Brooklyn, erworben 1970 – Anfang der 1990er Jahre. Edna Russmann kam 1989 als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin zum Brooklyn Museum, eine Position, die sie bis 1998 innehatte, als sie zur Associate Curator und im Jahr 2000 zur Kuratorin ernannt wurde. Bevor sie zum Brooklyn Museum kam, war sie Gastkuratorin am Kelsey Museum of Archaeology an der University of Michigan, Ann Arbor; Assoziierter Kurator in der Abteilung für ägyptische Kunst am Metropolitan Museum of Art; und war William Stevenson Smith Curatorial Fellow am Museum of Fine Arts, Boston.
