Reliefgeschnitzt mit elegant gewölbtem Hals und eingeschnittenem Auge und Schnabel, mit gespreizten Flügeln und Beinen, unvollendet und noch hinten an dem Block befestigt, aus dem es geschnitzt wurde,

Entengefäße in dieser Form waren im Neuen Reich beliebt, vergleiche WC Hayes, The Scepter of Egypt-Part II (New York) 1953, Abb. 199. Die Wahl des Materials für dieses Beispiel macht eine Votivfunktion wahrscheinlicher.

Zustand : Intakt und insgesamt in sehr gutem Zustand mit einigen originalen polychromen Überresten. Präsentiert auf einem maßgeschneiderten Passepartout in Museumsqualität.
