Roman Bronze Head of Zeus, Roman Imperial Period, ca. 1st - 2nd century CE

The piece was once part of a larger bronze statue, likely a small-scale cult figure meant as a votive offering. Its compact size and intricate detailing indicate it was crafted in a skilled workshop. The surface has developed a fine olive-green patina with reddish mineral deposits in recessed areas, lending the piece both texture and visual depth.
