Provenienz: Mirtha Virginia de Perea (1929–2019), Privatsammlung costaricanischen Kunst. Originaler Sammlungsaufkleber (4) auf der Rückseite. Frau de Perea verbrachte ihre gesamte 48-jährige Karriere bei der Botschaft von Costa Rica in Washington, D.C. und erlangte den Rang einer Kulturministerin, Beraterin und Konsulin, nachdem sie als Sekretärin angefangen hatte. Sie war eine engagierte Förderin der Künste, förderte im Laufe ihrer Karriere zahlreiche lokale Künstler und sponserte viele kulturelle Veranstaltungen. Sie trug auch eine beeindruckende Sammlung lateinamerikanischer Kunst zusammen. Nach ihrer Pensionierung im Jahr 1999 wurde sie US-amerikanische Staatsbürgerin und setzte ihre Unterstützung der Künste durch ihre Mitgliedschaft im Frauenkomitee der Washington National Opera und anderen lokalen Gruppen fort.

We ship Tuesday to Friday with FedEx and usually same day if your order is received before 2pm. Within the continental USA, packing, shipping and insurance is free. Depending on size and destination, delivery times range from one to five business days.
For overseas shipments we charge a small flat rate which includes packing, preparation of all customs paperwork, insurance and carrier fees in compliance with all USA and International customs requirements. Overseas shipments are sent using either USPS Priority Mail or FedEx but contact us if you have a shipping preference. International customers are responsible for all duties and taxes.
