A finely carved volcanic stone altar featuring twin opposing jaguar figures supporting a shallow rectangular bowl with a raised rim. The feline forms are shown in recumbent position with strong, stylized limbs and expressive facial features, embodying the power and vitality associated with the jaguar, an enduring symbol of strength, fertility, and shamanic transformation in Pre-Columbian belief.

The upper surface was likely used for ritual grinding or the preparation of ceremonial offerings, while the zoomorphic supports elevate the piece as both functional and sacred. The grey volcanic stone displays a granular texture with naturally weathered surfaces.
