eine anmutige Applikation des jungen Eros, der eine tiefe Tunika trägt und die rechte Schulter freilegt, das süße, pausbäckige Gesicht, fein detailliert mit idealisierter Nase, Ohren und Mund. Sein Kopf ist nach links gedreht und seine Augen blicken über seine Schulter nach unten, weg von dem Füllhorn, das er in seinem rechten Arm hält.

Hintergrund: Diese bezaubernde Bronze stellt eines der berühmtesten und verehrtesten Bilder der klassischen Antike dar: Eros oder besser bekannt als Amor. Amor ist der Gott des Verlangens, der erotischen Liebe, der Anziehung und der Zuneigung. Er wird oft als Sohn der Liebesgöttin Venus dargestellt . Obwohl Eros in der klassischen griechischen Kunst als schlanker, geflügelter Jüngling erscheint, wurde er in der hellenistischen Zeit zunehmend als pummeliger Junge dargestellt.
