The core-formed glass amphoriskos with a gently rounded, body tapering to a small disc base, flat flared rim with an applied yellow glass lip stemming from the narrow neck, and two small applied handles at the shoulder. The body is decorated with yellow bands sandwiching yellow and blue zigzags against a deep blue background.

Dimensions:  Height: 3 inches (7.5 cm)

Condition:  The body repaired from approximately seven original pieces, with scattered small areas of cosmetic restoration. Custom lucite disc base.

Provenance:  Private Connecticut collection, acquired from the trade, Connecticut, previously in a private NYC collection, acquired in the 1970s.
