This fine double ostrich feather amulet is depicted with a characteristically curled-over top, a single stem running down the center, and an inverted pyramidal base. Suspension loop at the back. Representing the goddess Maat, the embodiment of truth, justice, righteousness, and cosmic order, the wearer of a double-plume amulet would have been imbued with divine dignity and majesty.
