Amulets of Offerings, Possessions and Property

Amulets in the shape of possessions could act as magical substitutes for real clothing, personal accouterments, goods, and equipment taken to the tomb for use in the Other Life, which might be stolen or destroyed. The objects represented might be items used in life, but some were of a ritual or funerary nature, made specifically to be set on or near the mummy on the day of the burial.
