In the shape of a crescent moon, this pretty free-form glass pendant of bright cobalt blue has rounded terminals and a wide suspension loop attached to the top.

The Romans thought such amulets a sign of good fortune as they were considered protection from the evil eye and negative feelings. Modern strung for wearing. 

Medium: Glass, gold

Dimensions: Pendant height: .59 in. (1.5 cm.), Width: .71 ins (1.8 cm)

Condition: The pendant is intact and in very good condition overall. It has been strung for wearing with a modern, adjustable 18-inch chain of 18K white gold.

Provenance: Private collection 1970s-1990s, thereafter Sheikh Saud bin Mohammed Al-Thani (1966 - 2014) collection, 1990s-2014.

For overseas shipments we charge a small flat rate which includes packing, preparation of all customs paperwork, insurance and carrier fees in compliance with all USA and International customs requirements.  Overseas shipments are sent using either USPS Priority Mail or FedEx but contact us if you have a shipping preference. International customers are responsible for all duties and taxes.
