This fine shabti is for the priest’s daughter, the Lady Djedkhonsuiwesankh.  Of bright, blue-glazed faience, she is shown mummiform with details in black pigment, wearing a tripartite wig, her crossed arms with clenched hands each holding agricultural tools for work in the afterlife, a vertical column of text at the front reads: "The Osiris, Djed-khonsu-iwes-ankh, true of voice".

Dimensions: Height: 10.5 cm (4.13 inches)

Condition: There is some wear to the glaze, with ancient cracking to the back that is stable and does not detract, overall the piece is intact and in very good condition.  Old collection sticker number '28' on the back of the mount

Provenance:  Originally part of the 1900 excavations of the Egyptian Research Account at Abydos North Cemeteries: Cemetery E.  Bodo Bleß (1940-2022) collection, Berlin, assembled beginning in the 1960s onwards.

For overseas shipments we charge a small flat rate which includes packing, preparation of all customs paperwork, insurance and carrier fees in compliance with all USA and International customs requirements.  Overseas shipments are sent using either USPS Priority Mail or FedEx but contact us if you have a shipping preference. International customers are responsible for all duties and taxes.
