This very pretty pair of vintage 14-karat yellow gold earrings feature ancient round amethyst beads that dangle freely from a curved post design with a satin finish that is set with seven 0.005-ct. round diamonds (SI3–I1 clarity/G, H color; .035CTW). 

Medium: Amethyst, gold, diamonds.

Dimensions: Bead diameter: 6 mm. Earring drop length: 1.8 cm (0.7 inches)

Condition: A chip to the side of one bead, otherwise intact and in very good condition overall. 

Provenance:  Amethysts from the Ronald Parct collection, New York, acquired Sotheby Parke Bernet, 3/20/1968, lot #52 (part).
