A pair of Chanel Egypt Collection Crystal Earrings, 2019

Kicking off our new Egyptomania section are these stunning CHANEL chandelier scarab earrings that feature a clip-on back that surmount sparkling blue tone crystals, and, of course, the iconic CC logo.

In the pre-Fall of 2019, Chanel honored Ancient Egypt through a grand occasion that transported individuals back in time. The runway, held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Temple of Dendur exhibit, featured models adorned in glittering gold and wearing accessories inspired by ancient Egyptian culture (including scarab beetles, pyramid-shaped purses, round hats, and intricate collars.) The overall effect was breathtaking and a true homage to the rich history of Egypt.
