A circular marble stamp seal finely engraved with two running felines in mirrored opposition. The bodies are gracefully elongated and slightly arched, with extended limbs that suggest motion and agility.
The composition captures the fluidity and energy of the animals in full stride, likely symbolizing strength, vitality, or protective force. A perforation runs laterally through the center for suspension. The execution is characteristic of the Jamdat Nasr period’s early visual grammar, favoring dynamic symmetry and zoomorphic themes within compact seal formats.
