of fine pale clay, modeled in the form of a bull with rounded horns, wearing an applied striated collar, the face with large flat nose, and applied circular eyes. It is thought such figures representing domestic animals were usually made either as children's toys or as dedications to temples to acquire the protection of the gods.

Condition: Restoration to the hind legs, together with minor chips and abrasions that do not detract. Overall, the figurine is intact and in very good condition. An unusually large example of type that presents extremely well. A fine example.
