This rare matching pair of thin circular disc pendants are made from sheet gold with a spiral motif applied in gold wire, and a bail attached at the top for suspension. They have been modern set as stunning long threader earrings of 14K gold that are light and easy to wear.   Check out the matching pendant as well!

The spiral is one of the oldest symbols of human spirituality and has been used in Greece since the Paleolithic era. It is a symbol of movement and progressive development, growth, expansion, cosmic energy, continuity, the course of the sun, the cyclical seasons, and the earth's rotation. Spirals have been found in ancient Greek burial sites, vases, jewelry, clothing, and architecture. They can be seen in every aspect of nature, like the ocean's tides, the winds, the plants, and the shells.
