A mold-blown green glass ewer with a round, shallowly-ribbed body, narrow neck, and trefoil spout, with an applied handle attached at the lip and shoulder. A charming piece.

Condition: Loss to the pouring spout and reassembled from a number of pieces particularly where the handle joins the body.

Provenance: Estate of Dr. Seymour Ira Schwartz (1928 – 2020), Rochester, New York. Dr. Schwartz, an eminent surgeon, and prolific polymath was the founding editor of the 1,800-page surgery textbook, first published in 1969, that became a bible for medical students. For overseas shipments we charge a small flat rate which includes packing, preparation of all customs paperwork, insurance and carrier fees in compliance with all USA and International customs requirements.  Overseas shipments are sent using either USPS Priority Mail or FedEx but contact us if you have a shipping preference. International customers are responsible for all duties and taxes.
