An almond-shaped left eye, the white glass sclera hand polished to a soft sheen and flattened at the center to accept a black pupil inlay, usually carved from obsidian.
During the New Kingdom, inner anthropoid coffins were painstakingly carved from wood and featured eyes and eyebrows inlaid from precious materials such as obsidian, alabaster, and colored glass.

Condition: A number of expected minor edge chips and small loss to the corner, the polished exterior with scattered deposits, otherwise intact and in very good condition overall.
