Le cavalier porte un casque thrace avec des protège-joues, une courte tunique plissée attachée à l'épaule par des sangles et des brodequins, et maintenue à la taille par une ceinture, son bras droit levé pour tenir une arme maintenant manquante, le gauche le long du corps. Il est assis à califourchon sur un cheval modelé séparément, avec une bride ornée de disques élaborés, les antérieurs levés avec une crinière ondulante et une queue flottante attachée, créant une merveilleuse sensation de mouvement.

Condition : Complet avec un important engobe blanc, des pigments roses et bleus restants, l'ensemble en très bon état.

Provenance : Ancienne collection de Patrick Olivier Picourt, Paris, acquise dans les années 1980 ; Mme S., Paris.

We send overseas shipments with FedEx International Priority which usually means two to three day delivery to Europe and the UK, customs willing but contact us if you have a shipping preference.
