Provenance : Collection privée de Paul I. Ilton (1904-1958), puis transmise par héritage à son fils, Arie Ilton. Né en Allemagne et ayant étudié aux Universités de Cologne et de Berlin, Ilton s'installe en Palestine en 1934, devenant citoyen palestinien, menant des recherches archéologiques continues en Palestine, en Transjordanie, en Irak, en Syrie, dans le Hedjaz-At et constituant une collection personnelle qui fut publiée en 1958. Au début de la Seconde Guerre mondiale, il entre au British Information Service à Jérusalem et sert avec le grade de capitaine jusqu'en 1946, date à laquelle il s'installe définitivement aux États-Unis, donnant des conférences à l'Université de New York et à l'Université Cornell.

We ship Tuesday to Friday with FedEx and usually same day if your order is received before 2pm. Within the continental USA, packing, shipping and insurance is free. Depending on size and destination, delivery times range from one to five business days.
For overseas shipments we charge a small flat rate which includes packing, preparation of all customs paperwork, insurance and carrier fees in compliance with all USA and International customs requirements. Overseas shipments are sent using either USPS Priority Mail or FedEx but contact us if you have a shipping preference. International customers are responsible for all duties and taxes.
