Un pendentif en cornaline finement sculpté représentant un ver stylisé (« gusano »), une forme distinctive de la culture Tairona du nord de la Colombie. La figurine présente des détails faciaux incisés et des yeux arrondis, rendus avec un modelage doux et une segmentation rythmique le long du corps. Percé longitudinalement pour la suspension, cet exemple affiche de belles teintes orange et crème en bandes qui captent la lumière avec chaleur et translucidité. Ces pendentifs étaient des symboles de régénération et de transformation, reflétant la croyance des Taironas au renouvellement cyclique de la nature.
