The intaglio's bright orange glass engraved with a bird walking left with its head down, its tail plumed out behind, standing on a groundline, the bezel with a high lip around the stone, and a thick squarish shank that tapers at the back.

Dimensions: US ring size 4 1/2 (UK=I 1/2, DE=15 1/4, JP=8)

Condition: With minor losses to the bezel and lip, overall intact and in good condition.

Provenance: Alex Malloy collection, acquired 1980s - 1990s.
