Of rectangular form, this lovely lapis lazuli bead of fine, deep celestial-blue, is hand-carved and polished to a lustrous finish. Restrung as a pendant on an adjustable 18" chain of 18K white gold.

For the ancients, lapis lazuli was the most highly prized and sought after of all precious stones. It remains the symbol of royalty and honor, gods and power, spirit, and vision. It is a universal symbol of wisdom and truth.

Condition: with ancient signs of wear, intact and in excellent condition overall.
