An unusual rectangular shaped scaraboid in deep green-glazed faience, the top depicts two mirrored fish in raised relief, the base is uninscribed. The plaque is pierced diagonally with a narrow cylindrical hole for attachment.

Condition: Intact and in very good condition overall.

Dimensions: Height: 1.2 cm (0.47 inch)

Provenance: Private Maryland collection of a diplomat, acquired while serving in Egypt between 1949 and 1956, and then by descent.
