A lovely pair of ancient Greco-Roman drop pendants, each featuring a luminous, teardrop-shaped carnelian bead in a vibrant orange hue. The ancient beads are surmounted by high karat gold caps of flared, tapering form, detailed with small raised collars and decorative elements indicative of Hellenistic goldwork. Each pendant is suspended from a small ring and attached to a modern 14K gold huggie earring for contemporary wear. The overall design is delicate and elegant, with a subtle sense of movement that accentuates the warmth of the materials.
