This object qualifies for free USA shipping and a flat rate fee of $75 if shipping internationally.
This conical-shaped gold pendant features a flat top with a suspension loop and gold filigree decoration around the body and base. Hellenistic gold is one of the most exquisite and celebrated types of goldwork from the ancient world. Artisans fashioned delicate filigree, granulation, and repoussé work into necklaces, earrings, rings, diadems, and wreaths adorned with mythological motifs, deities, and natural forms such as ivy leaves and acorns. These pieces served as symbols of status, devotion, identity, and above all, miniature masterpieces of art.
