This exquisite little figure is masterfully carved from black serpentine and hand-polished to a soft gloss finish, its intricately drilled eyes, and string-cut detailing near the mouth, arms, and legs bring this miniature to life.  The drilled suspension hole through the shoulders is threaded with a modern 18K gold chain that can be adjusted for a perfect fit.

Dimensions:  Length: 1.5 cm (0.59 inches). Strung on an 18K gold box chain adjustable up to 18 inches.

Condition:  Intact and in excellent condition overall.  A beautiful example of miniature art.

Provenance:  From a Hollis, Queens, NY estate collection, then by descent.
