A well-cast bronze ring with a gently tapering hoop expanding to a flat, oval bezel. The face is set with a clear silver inlay cross motif, the four arms formed as elongated, teardrop-shaped elements radiating from a central point. The contrast between the dark, time-softened bronze and the brighter silver creates a direct and legible design, emphasizing the devotional character of the piece.

Rings of this type are associated with the Crusader states established in the Levant during the medieval holy wars. Personal objects such as this served not only as adornment but as visible affirmations of faith, worn by individuals living within or moving through these contested territories. The cross, rendered with clarity and restraint, reflects the era's central symbolic language, while the use of silver inlay on a bronze ground speaks to practical craftsmanship for everyday use.

Condition: Very good. The ring is structurally sound with a stable, dark patina; the silver cross inlay is largely intact, with minor wear consistent with age.
